SIX OTHER DAYS

Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how Six Other Days handles personal information when you purchase, license and use the Executive Decision Book™ at book.sixotherdays.com.

Effective: 19 September 2026

Six Other Days believes that information should only be collected and used where there is a clear reason to do so.

Two things are handled very differently here. The information needed to authenticate you and administer your Individual Executive Licence is held by Six Other Days. The decision content you enter into the Executive Decision Book™ is designed to remain in your own browser.

This policy explains that distinction, what is handled, why, and who is involved.

01

Who operates this service

Six Other Days operates the Six Other Days website and offers the Executive Decision Book™, a self-service digital decision-management product designed to help leaders bring greater clarity, challenge and accountability to important business decisions.

Six Other Days is the trading name of Karl Wilkins, a sole trader operating from Guernsey, Channel Islands. References in this Privacy Policy to “Six Other Days”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Karl Wilkins trading as Six Other Days.

Karl Wilkins, trading as Six Other Days, is the controller of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, other than information processed independently by Paddle in its role as Merchant of Record.

Questions about this Privacy Policy, or a request relating to your personal information, can be sent to karl@sixotherdays.com.

Postal correspondence may be sent to: Six Other Days, The Villa, Grange Road, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 1RQ.

02

The Executive Decision Book™

The Executive Decision Book™ is a licensed hosted digital product. It is accessed at book.sixotherdays.com and is used in your web browser.

Access requires an Individual Executive Licence and a signed-in session. This Privacy Policy covers book.sixotherdays.com and the licensing service that supports it.

YOUR DECISION CONTENT

Although the application is hosted online, the substantive information you enter into the Executive Decision Book™ is designed to remain within your browser rather than being transmitted to Six Other Days.

03

Account and authentication

Access uses passwordless email authentication. You enter your email address, we send a secure, time-limited one-time code to that address, and entering the code signs you in. There is no password to create, remember or reset.

To authenticate you securely we process:

  • your email address;
  • the secure, time-limited access link or code issued to you and its expiry;
  • session information used to keep you signed in;
  • sign-in, sign-out and other account activity events, with their dates and times; and
  • limited technical information recorded by the authentication infrastructure for security purposes, such as request metadata and rate-limiting information.

This processing is necessary to provide the service you have asked for and to keep licensed access secure.

04

Individual Executive Licence

When you hold an Individual Executive Licence, we maintain a licence record so that access can be validated and administered.

A licence record may include:

  • your name, where provided;
  • your email address;
  • the product licensed and the licence type;
  • licence status (active, suspended, revoked or refunded) and the dates on which it changed;
  • purchase and entitlement information required to confirm the licence;
  • the date the licence was last validated; and
  • references identifying the related transaction, held for administration, refunds and support.

Licence validation confirms that an authenticated person holds an active licence. It never includes the content of your decisions.

05

Decision content

The substantive information you enter into the Executive Decision Book™ is designed to remain within your browser.

Decision questions, evidence, assumptions, options, challenge responses, preferred direction, Decision Gate™ responses, actions, Decision Memory and Decision Brief content are not routinely transmitted to, received by or stored by Six Other Days as part of normal application operation, authentication or licence validation.

Decision content is not automatically synchronised between browsers or devices. Records created in one browser are not copied to another.

Clearing your browser storage, using private browsing, changing device, or a browser or device failure may remove locally stored decision information. Where the product provides export and backup functionality, you should use it to keep a separate copy of anything important.

Because Six Other Days does not hold this information, we cannot retrieve it, restore it or delete it on your behalf.

06

Browser and device information

An Individual Executive Licence allows up to three active personal browser or device activations.

To administer that allowance, the application creates a random activation identifier in your browser and records a simple description of the browser and operating system, for example “Chrome on Mac”, together with the activation date and the date it was last seen.

This is an activation record, not hardware fingerprinting. We do not build a device fingerprint, track you across other websites, or collect location data for this purpose.

You can view your active activations and deactivate one you no longer use from your licence page. Deactivating an activation does not delete any decision information stored in that browser.

07

Purchases and Paddle

Purchases of the Executive Decision Book™ are managed through Paddle, an independent commerce provider that acts as Merchant of Record.

Paddle is responsible for the checkout, payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, invoicing and the administration of refunds.

PAYMENT DETAILS

Six Other Days does not receive or store your full payment-card number or security code.

Payment information is collected and processed within Paddle's payment environment.

Paddle may process information such as your name, email address, billing and location information required for tax purposes, transaction information and payment information, in accordance with its own privacy notice and legal responsibilities.

Paddle provides Six Other Days with the limited information needed to provision and administer your licence, such as:

  • your name, where provided;
  • your email address;
  • a transaction or customer reference;
  • the product and price purchased;
  • the amount, currency and transaction status;
  • the purchase date; and
  • refund status where relevant.

If you request a refund, purchase information is used to identify the transaction, administer the request and update your licence where a full refund is completed.

08

Service providers

Six Other Days uses a small number of established providers to operate this service.

  • Lovable — application hosting, build and delivery, and operational and error reporting;
  • Lovable Cloud — database, authentication, file storage and server functions, using Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS;
  • Paddle — Merchant of Record, payment, tax, invoicing and refund services;
  • GoDaddy — domain and DNS services for the main Six Other Days website.

Providers process information on our behalf under their own terms, except Paddle, which also processes information independently in its role as Merchant of Record.

Typefaces used by the application are served from book.sixotherdays.com itself. The application does not load fonts, scripts or other assets from an external font service.

09

International processing

The core database, authentication and storage infrastructure supporting the Executive Decision Book™ is currently hosted in Ireland, within the European Union.

Application delivery uses a global network, so technical information such as your IP address and browser details may be processed in other countries when pages are served.

Paddle and other providers are international organisations and may process information outside Guernsey and the EU, including in the United States.

Personal information therefore does not remain exclusively in Ireland. Where personal information is processed outside Guernsey, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate protections are in place in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

10

Operational and error information

Technical logs and error information are processed to operate, troubleshoot and secure the service. This may include request and error details, licence or account identifiers, email addresses, timestamps and technical browser information.

This operational information is distinct from decision content. Logs and error reports are not designed to contain, and are not used to collect, the substantive information you enter into the Executive Decision Book™.

11

No advertising or behavioural tracking

The Executive Decision Book™ does not use advertising, behavioural-tracking, profiling or session-replay technologies.

No advertising pixels, analytics products or cross-site trackers are installed. Browser storage is used only for your signed-in session, your licence activation record and the Decision Book's own local decision storage.

12

How we use personal information

Personal information may be used where reasonably necessary to:

  • authenticate you and maintain a secure session;
  • confirm, provision and administer your Individual Executive Licence;
  • administer the three-device activation allowance;
  • provide access to the Executive Decision Book™;
  • administer purchases, the 30-day refund policy and related records;
  • provide customer and technical support;
  • protect the security and integrity of the service and prevent licence abuse or fraud;
  • operate, troubleshoot and improve the reliability of the service; and
  • comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax or accounting obligations.

13

Our basis for handling personal information

We process information where it is necessary to provide the product and licence you have purchased or requested, to meet a legal obligation, or to pursue a legitimate interest in operating the service securely, preventing licence abuse and maintaining proper business records.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we aim to ensure the use of the information is proportionate and consistent with your rights and reasonable expectations.

14

Your responsibility for decision information

Business decisions can involve confidential, commercially sensitive, personal or otherwise protected information.

You are responsible for deciding what information is appropriate to enter into the Executive Decision Book™ and for ensuring that your use complies with your organisation's own confidentiality, information-security, data-protection and records-management requirements.

You are also responsible for protecting exported Decision Briefs, PDF documents and backup files created through your use of the product.

15

Cookies and browser storage

The Executive Decision Book™ does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Browser storage is used for three distinct purposes:

  • your signed-in session, so you are not asked to authenticate on every page;
  • your licence activation identifier and browser description, used for the three-device allowance; and
  • the Executive Decision Book's own decision storage, which holds your decision content locally.

These are logically separate. Signing in or out does not read, change or delete the Decision Book's local decision storage.

Your browser lets you control or remove locally stored information. Removing it may sign you out, consume an activation slot until the old activation is deactivated, and delete locally retained decision records.

16

How long information is retained

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and for legitimate legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or dispute-related requirements. There is no automatic deletion beyond what is described below.

Our operational retention framework is:

  • Purchase, transaction and accounting records — retained for the period required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes.
  • Individual Executive Licence records — retained while the licence exists, and afterwards where reasonably necessary to administer the purchase, prevent licence abuse, handle refunds or disputes and establish licence history.
  • Device activation records — retained while associated with a licence. Obsolete or deactivated activation records are removed when no longer reasonably required for licence administration or security.
  • Account activity and security events — a target operational retention period of 24 months, subject to longer retention where reasonably necessary for security, fraud, dispute or legal purposes.
  • Authentication and infrastructure logs — retained according to the relevant provider's retention settings, where Six Other Days does not directly control deletion.

Decision content stored locally in the Executive Decision Book™ is not subject to a Six Other Days retention period, because Six Other Days does not hold it. It remains under your control in your own browser.

17

Information security

Entitlement is verified on the server for every session; it cannot be granted by changing anything in your browser. Access to licence and account records is restricted, and administrator access is limited to authorised Six Other Days personnel.

We take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information we handle to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No digital service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for the security of your own email account, devices, browsers, exported documents and backup files.

18

Administrator access

A small number of authorised Six Other Days administrators can view licence, purchase and account activity records, and can grant, suspend, revoke or restore a licence for support, refund or fraud-prevention purposes.

Administrator access is enforced on the server. Administrators cannot see the decision content held in your browser, because it is not transmitted to Six Other Days.

19

Customer support

Support is provided by email. Information you include in a support message is held in the Six Other Days email account and used to resolve your query and maintain appropriate records.

Please do not include confidential decision content in a support message; it is not needed to resolve a licence or access issue.

20

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights in relation to personal information held about you.

These may include rights to:

  • ask whether personal information about you is being processed;
  • request access to personal information held about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion in appropriate circumstances;
  • request restriction of processing in appropriate circumstances;
  • object to certain processing;
  • request portability of certain information where applicable; and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

These rights are subject to applicable law and may not apply in every circumstance. Some records, such as purchase and accounting records, may need to be retained even where deletion is requested.

Where information is processed independently by Paddle, you may also exercise rights directly with Paddle.

21

Account deletion and data requests

To request access to your information, correction of it, or deletion of your account and licence records, contact karl@sixotherdays.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Where deletion is appropriate, we will delete or anonymise account, licence and activation records, retaining only what is required for legal, tax, accounting or dispute purposes. Deleting your account ends access to the hosted Executive Decision Book™.

Six Other Days cannot remotely delete decision information stored locally in your browser, because it does not possess it. You remove that information by clearing the Executive Decision Book's local storage in your own browser.

You may also raise a concern with the Office of the Data Protection Authority in Guernsey or another relevant supervisory authority.

22

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our products, services, technology, providers, business practices or legal requirements.

The effective date shown at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect.

23

Terms of Use & Sale

This Privacy Policy should be read alongside the Six Other Days Terms of Use & Sale.

The Terms explain the conditions applying to use of book.sixotherdays.com, the Executive Decision Book™, the Individual Executive Licence, purchases processed through Paddle and the 30-day refund policy.
